Power Hike! : Fitness, Food, Friends and Fun!


Grab your hiking shoes and nine of your friends and embrace a day of health, nature, fine food and good company!

Get ready to start your day with a Nordic walking experience in the scenic Arastradero Preserve led by professional fitness coach Alexia Cornu. Alexia is a certified trainer who has represented the French Federation Athletics at the EuroNordicWalk gathering, and has built a very successful personal training business that she is now expanding in the Silicon Valley.
 
Nordic walking is a total-body version of walking that can be enjoyed by non-athletes, as a health-promoting physical activity, as well as by athletes, as a competitive sport. The activity is performed with specially-designed walking poles similar to ski poles. You and 9 guests will get your hearts pumping during this exhilarating power hike led by the charismatic Alexia.
 
After your powerful cardio experience, you and your guests will retreat to the nearby home of ISTP parents Jessica and Bertrand Yansouni for a delicious poolside luncheon in the garden. Enjoy stunning views of the Stanford hills while you satisfy your well-earned appetite with a gourmet lunch catered and served by your host. There are few better ways to spend your day than enjoying nature, strengthening your body and communing with friends over a delightful shared meal! 
 
 Inclusions: 
  • 1.5 hours of Power Hiking led by Alexia Cornu, including warm-up cardio, an introduction to Nordic Walking,and stretching, for up to 10 guests.
  • Poles will be provided 
  • Lunch at the Yansouni home 
Limitations:
  • Must be in good cardio-vascular condition
  • Must be scheduled on a mutually agreed upon date on a weekday (no weekends)
  • Meet at the Yansouni home at 10:00am and you will begin Power Hiking at 10:30am
  • Must be redeemed before March 1, 2021
  • Only valid while school is in session; summer excluded
