Day 1 - The Ancient Capital Comes Alive
Begin your journey at the Shaanxi History Museum, home to exquisite relics from China’s golden ages: bronzes, jade, and Tang Dynasty pottery that whisper stories of imperial splendor. As evening falls, wander through the glowing streets of Datang Everbright City, a dazzling recreation of Tang Dynasty magnificence, where grand architecture, cultural performances, and local delicacies merge into a feast for the senses.
Day 2 - Emperors and Legends
The day begins with a visit to one of humanity’s greatest archaeological wonders: the Terracotta Warriors Museum. Stand before thousands of life-sized soldiers, each uniquely sculpted over 2,000 years ago to guard Emperor Qin Shi Huang in eternity. Continue to the imperial Huaqing Palace, once a royal retreat with natural hot springs and breathtaking gardens. As night descends, immerse yourself in the spectacular open-air performance of “The Everlasting Sorrow”, a moving retelling of Emperor Xuanzong’s tragic love story with Yang Guifei, set against the illuminated palace backdrop.
Day 3 - Sacred Sites and Living Culture
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a towering 7th-century Buddhist landmark that safeguarded scriptures brought from India along the Silk Road. Walk atop the Ming Dynasty City Wall, one of China’s most intact ancient fortifications, for sweeping views of the old and new city. Savor authentic local flavors at Yongxingfang, home to Xi’an’s legendary roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), biangbiang noodles, and yangrou paomo (lamb soup with hand-torn bread). Conclude at the Muslim Quarter and Great Mosque, a fascinating blend of Chinese and Islamic architecture, where the aromas of cumin and other spices fill the air.
From the silent ranks of the Terracotta Army to the lyrical glow of the Tang streets, this exclusive journey captures the heart of China’s ancient civilization: a world of emperors, warriors, poets, and pilgrims. Do not miss this rare opportunity to walk the Silk Road’s first steps, in comfort, culture, and wonder, as your Journey to the East awaits.
