Principal for a Day


Here’s a chance for your child to “run” Silicon Valley International School for a day! Your child will be a special protégé to their INTL Principal. Your child will go about the daily routine of a principal, but for your child it will be anything but routine!
To start, the Principal for a Day will forgo their classes to work on the operations of INTL. As their friends watch with envy, the Principal for a Day will get to visit classrooms, sit in on various meetings, have discussions about school issues, and enjoy lunch with the Assistant Head of School.

Your little administrator may even have the opportunity to make decisions that will impact the future of the school!

Your child will also get to create their “ideal schedule” and draw plans for the ideal classroom. We can’t guarantee the implementation of what will surely be brilliant ideas, but we can promise it will be a fantastic day that your child will long remember. Just ask our 2025 winner, Principal Jean!

Inclusions:
  • Principal for a Day experience for one INTL student in 1st to 8th Grade
  • Student will shadow their Principal for the day

Limitations:
  • INTL community only
  • To be scheduled on a mutually agreed-upon date
  • Between school hours of 10am and 2pm
  • PS/PK and K students not eligible
  • Limited to Elementary and Middle School students
  • Expires on March 20, 2027
