Picturesque in Provence

Imagine fields filled with lavender and sunflowers. Markets overflowing with farm fresh fruits and vegetables. The scent of fresh herbs swirling through the air. The vistas and dancing light that inspired Van Gogh and Cézanne. This is Provence. Now, imagine spending a week there, surrounded by these heavenly scents and captivating views.

You have the opportunity to spend 7 nights in Provence, in a 4-bedroom home, plus a guesthouse. The beautiful stone home and guest house can comfortably accommodate 10 people. The lovely house, with its own swimming pool, is situated outside of the charming village of Le Barroux, near Avignon. The village is located between a small chain of mountains named Dentelles de Montmirail, at the base of Mont Ventoux, “The Giant of Provence,” in a gorgeous and rugged part of the Vaucluse region.

During your stay, you will be surrounded by Provence’s rich cultural heritage. You could spend endless days touring Roman ruins in Orange and Vaison La Romaine or visit the Southern Côtes du Rhône vineyards that dot the region. Avignon, former home to the Avignon Popes and their Papal Palace, is 45 minutes away. A trip to Avignon will feel like a step back in time, as you stand surrounded by medieval architecture. Whatever you choose to do, you will never forget your time in picturesque Provence!
